Why is it so difficult to order a salad?

So, I was out of town this weekend for sorority fun, and managed not to do so well on my diet... I have to wonder what makes it so difficult to do what we know we "should" or are "supposed" to do. I've been slightly stuck at an impasse with my weight recently and perhaps I was just angry with the scale or perhaps it was something else... but whatever it was, I decided to take my anger out on the pizza, BBQ sandwich, fries, bagel, etc. ACK!

So, I came back from my weekend, up a few pounds, and accepted the fact that I seem to enjoy a bit of self sabotage every now and then. But when I got home I went right back on my plan. I've been eating well and exercising over 45 mins a day. That's got to count for something, right?

Maybe I can get to a new low by the end of the week. Here's to hoping!

Megan - This is so hilarious and so true. WAY TO GO with your big weight loss already, that is amazing. These recipes look DELICIOUS, I will definitely be trying some - I heart cooking! I cook from Cooking Light almost ALWAYS, and love their recipes - always flavorful and different and delicious! I can send you some of my favorites if you want some more to add to your recipe box! :) Hope you are well, love you!

Ellen - I would LOVE some recipes... I'm always up for trying new things, and I'm adding in a lot of *untested* recipes as I go along too because I find that this is a good place to keep my recipes so I don't lose them. :-)
